Учимся заполнять анкету - THE WORLD TEENAGERS' COMPETITION

Цели урока:

1. Активизация материала по теме «Порядок слов в предложении».

2. Закрепление грамматических навыков (времена английского глагола).

3. Совершенствование навыков письменной речи (заполнение анкеты).

Оборудование: наборное полотно; карточки со словами для фонетической разминки; транскрипционные значки; анкеты для заполнения по количеству учащихся; грамматическое задание на карточках по количеству учащихся.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

— Good morning, boys and girls!

— I’m glad to see you.

— Today we shall learn to fill in the application form.

II. Фонетическая разминка

— But at first let’s practise the English sounds. I shall show you the symbols of the English sounds and the task for you is to pronounce this sound and name some words with it on the topic “Competition”. Remember the English words and get ready to start.

[w] — what, where, why, whale, wheel;

[h] — who, whom, whose, whole;

[t] — take, competition, part, participate;

[l] — luck, lose, final, while;

[d] — advertisement, kind, do, find;

[aı] — why, while, try, final, find;

[f] — friends, final, find, office, form. Etc.

Учитель предлагает ученикам назвать слова с определенными звуками по теме «Соревнование». Заранее на наборное полотно выставляются карточки со словами по данной теме, которые ученики читают хором и по одному.

III. Речевая разминка

— As I know you can answer the phone calls. Let’s play the game. You will tell your friends what competitions you have participate but the telephone doesn’t work well. Your friends will ask you if anything is not clear and if they are not right you’ll have to repeat your sentence again.

Один ребенок рассказывает, остальные дети переспрашивают.

— 1 took part in the competition last year.

— Did you take part in the competition last month?

— No, I didn’t. I took part in the competition last year. It was a competition for young writers.

— Was it a competition for young actors?

— No, it was not. It was a competition for young writers. There were 100 participants in the competition.

— Were there 200 participants in the competition?

— No, there were not. There were 100 participants there. The competition took place in Moscow.

— Did the competition take place in Rostov?

— No, it didn’t. It took place in Moscow. I won that competition. Etc.

IV. Совершенствование навыков письменной речи (заполнение анкеты)

— If you want to take part in the international competition you’ll have to fill in the application form in English. Let’s learn to do it all together.

На данном этапе урока учитель предлагает учащимся научиться заполнять анкету. Сначала анкета заполняется всеми учениками под руководством учителя, а затем дети сами отвечают на вопросы анкеты из упр. 31, стр. 15.

Your parents are thinking of sending you to an English school to improve your English for a year. They received the following form from ISIS (Independent School Information Service), an organization which helps parents to choose the right school for their children. Fill in the form.

VI. Активизация материала по теме «Порядок слов в предложении»

— The next task for you is in your Workbooks. It’s exercise 3, page 13. What do you remember about the word order in the English language? Is everything clear?

Учитель предлагает учащимся вспомнить тему «Порядок слов в английском предложении» на материале настоящего совершенного времени. Особое внимание следует обратить на отрицательные и вопросительные предложения. Учащиеся выполняют упр. 3, стр. 13 из рабочей тетради и задание на карточках. Для проверки задания на карточке два ученика, которые выполнят задание раньше других, записывают на доске по три предложения, а затем осуществляется проверка всем классом.

Примерное задание на карточке:

Put the words in a logical order:

1. Mother, visited, her, I, already, have.

2. We, a letter, not, written, have.

3. Has, he, work, finished, not, his.

4. People, school, built, have, new, this year, that.

5. Learnt, yet, poem, they, have, this?

VII. Закрепление грамматических навыков

— We have remembered the Present Perfect Tense. Do you know how to use other English tenses in the sentences? Let’s open the brackets in exercise 4, page 13—14.

Ученики выполняют упр. 4, стр. 13 из рабочей тетради. В конце урока ученики сдают рабочие тетради на проверку учителю.

VIII. Подведение итогов урока

Учитель предлагает учащимся вспомнить стихотворение, разученное на предыдущем уроке, декламирует его с ними и подводит итоги урока.

Two little ears to hear any sound,

Two little hands to hold hands tight,

Two little feet to walk left or right,

Two little lips to say “Beware!”

And one teenager to cross the roads with care.
