Цели урока:

1. Развитие навыков чтения по теме «Изучение русского языка».

2. Развитие лексических навыков.

3. Тренировка навыков устной речи по теме «Изучение русского языка».

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

— Good morning, boys and girls! (Good morning!)

— Nice to see you again. (Nice to see you too.)

— How are you? (We are fine, thanks. And how are you?)

— Who is on duty today? (I am on duty today.)

— Who is absent? (Nobody is absent.)

— We will have a talk about the Russian language and decide if it is an international language in our times.

II. Фонетическая разминка

Учитель предлагает учащимся выучить новое стихотворение для фонетической разминки. Сначала ученики прослушивают стихотворение, затем повторяют его за учителем и самостоятельно. Стихотворение заранее записывается на доске.

— Let’s learn the new poem. It will help us to pronounce the English sounds and words better. Listen to the poem, please. Do you like it? Repeat the poem after me.

I met a girl who came from another land.

I couldn’t speak her language,

But I took her by the hand.

We danced together, had such fun,

Dancing is the language

You can speak with everyone.

III. Речевая разминка

— Dancing is the language you can speak with everyone. But what other languages are international? You are right. They are English, German, Spanish, etc. As I know, you are interested in learning foreign languages. Listen to my statements and agree or disagree with me.

Учитель предлагает учащимся выразить свое согласие или несогласие с утверждениями учителя. Если утверждение верное — ученик повторяет его, если утверждение неверное — ученик исправляет его.

Примерные утверждения учителя:

1. You are good at remembering new English words. (I agree with you. I am good at remembering new English words.)

2. Pupils in Russia learn only English as a foreign language. (I disagree with you. Pupils in Russia learn different foreign languages such as German, Spanish, Chinese and others.)

3. The easiest way to learn a foreign language is to chat on the Internet. (I agree with you. The easiest way to learn a foreign language is to chat on the Internet.)

4. The most popular language in the future will be German. (I disagree with you. The most popular language in the future will be Chinese or English.)

5. Travelling can help us to learn a foreign language. (I agree with you. Travelling can help us to learn a foreign language.)

6. English is not used in business. (I disagree with you. English is used in business.)

7. The knowledge of foreign languages is important in our times. (I agree with you. The knowledge of foreign languages is important in our times.)

8. Chinese is the most popular language among your friends. (I disagree with you. English is the most popular language among my friends.)

9. It is not useful to watch films in English. (I disagree with you. It is useful to watch films in English.) Etc.

IV. Развитие лексических навыков

— It’s time to practise today’s vocabulary. Let’s read some English words from exercise 62, page 48. At first look through the text in exercise 63, page 48 and find the international words. Then we shall read and translate the word combinations from exercise 62(b), page 48.

Учитель привлекает внимание детей к тем словам из текста упр. 63, стр. 48-49, о значении которых можно догадаться без словаря. Ученикам предлагается найти и прочитать данные интернациональные слова. Затем ученики зачитывают и разбирают словосочетания из упр. 62, стр. 48. Учитель предлагает детям прочитать слова хором и по одному. Затем работа организуется следующим образом: учитель зачитывает словосочетание на русском языке, а дети находят перевод на английском языке или учитель читает словосочетание на английском языке, а ученики переводят его на русский язык.

V. Физкультминутка

Для проведения физкультминутки к доске по очереди вызываются 3—5 учеников, которые читают стихотворение и показывают движения вместе с одноклассниками.

Up, down, up, down,

Which is the way

To London town?

Where? Where?

Up in the air,

Close your eyes —

And you are there!

VI. Развитие навыков изучающего чтения

— People all over the world learn foreign languages. The Russian language is very popular nowadays. Let’s read the text from exercise 63, page 48—49 and find out the new information about the Ninth International Russian language and Literature Olympiad for schoolchildren. The task for you is to put the passages of the text in the logical order.

Учитель организует выполнение упр. 63, стр. 48-49 из учебника. Задание для учеников — поставить части текста в правильном порядке. Время на выполнение задания — 4 минуты. Проверка данного задания осуществляется следующим образом — ученики зачитывают по очереди по одной части текста вслух в логическом порядке.

VII. Активизация лексических навыков

— I want you to open your textbooks, page 58, exercise 22. You will find the synonyms of some English words and word combinations. Use the text from exercise 63, page 48—49 and write the word combinations in your exercise-books. Exchange your exercise-books and check if your partner is right.

Упр. 22, стр. 58 выполняется учениками в письменной форме. При выполнении данного упражнения дети используют текст из упр. 63, стр. 48—49. Для проверки задания учащиеся меняются тетрадями и проверяют данное задание по ключам.

VIII. Тренировка навыков устной речи по теме «Изучение русского языка»

— It’s time to work in pairs and discuss the questions of exercise 64, page 49. You will share your ideas and explain your opinion. We are short of time. Let’s start our discussion. Who will be the first?

Ученики делятся на пары для выполнения упр. 64, стр. 49. В течение 3—5 минут дети обсуждают вопросы в парах, а затем в конце урока каждая пара высказывается по 1—2 вопросам. Учитель предлагает кому-либо из учащихся подвести итог дискуссии. Учитель побуждает детей дополнять ответы своих товарищей и задавать им вопросы по теме выступления.

IX. Подведение итогов урока

— It brings us to the end. Thank you for your work. I hope our talk about the role of the Russian language in the life of people nowadays will be interesting and useful for you.

Учитель объясняет детям домашнее задание, благодарит их за работу и рассказывает с ними стихотворение. Учитель читает стихотворение, дети по строчке повторяют за учителем.

Two little eyes to look around,

Two little ears to hear any sound,

Two little hands to hold hands tight,

Two little feet to walk left or right,

Two little lips to say “Beware!”

And one teenager to cross the roads with care.
