Язык эсперанто - MEET THE WINNERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL TEENAGERS’ COMPETITION

Цели урока:

1. Совершенствование фонетических навыков.

2. Тренировка навыков чтения.

3. Активизация навыков монологической речи.

Оборудование: мяч; наборное полотно; карточки со словами по теме «Английский язык».

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

— Good morning, boys and girls! (Good morning, Maria Petrovna!)

— I am glad to see you. (We are glad to see you too.)

— How are you? (We are fine, thanks. And how are you?)

— I’m fine, thank you. Vova, how is your mother? (She is fine, thanks).

— Masha, is your father OK? (Yes, he is. He is OK).

— Who is absent today? (All pupils are present).

— And who is on duty today? (Vova and Masha are on duty today).

— OK. Let’s start our work. Today we shall find out what international language people used in the 20th century and why we don’t learn this language now.

II. Фонетическая разминка

— But at first let’s practise the English sounds. I shall show you the symbols of the English sounds, and the task for you is to pronounce this sound and name three words with it on the topic “English as a World Language”. Remember the English words and get ready to start.

[ŋ] — language, tongue;

[m] — modern, main, most;

[∫] — English, semiofficial, official;

[f] - first, foreign, official;

[w] — working, world, widespread;

[s] — speak, spoken, second;

[k] — country, spoken, recognize. Etc.

Учитель предлагает ученикам назвать слова с определенными звуками по теме «Английский язык». Заранее на наборное полотно выставляются карточки со словами по данной теме, которые ученики читают хором и по одному.

III. Речевая разминка

— Now you will agree or disagree with me. Listen to me carefully. If I am right, repeat my sentence. If I am not right, disagree with me.

Ученики встают в круг. Учитель кидает мяч по очереди каждому из учеников и произносит предложения, с которыми учащиеся соглашаются или не соглашаются. Перед проведением игры с мячом необходимо обратить внимание учащихся на речевые клише, заранее записанные на доске: I think, I believe, I guess, I am sure, It’s impossible that, I’ll never believe that, I can’t agree that,I don’t think.

Примерные утверждения учителя:

— The role of English is very important nowadays. (I agree with you. The role of English is very important nowadays.)

— Pupils in Russia learn only English as a foreign language. (I guess that pupils in Russia learn different foreign languages such as German, Spanish, Chinese and others.)

— People in 30 countries speak English as a second language. (I believe people in 30 countries speak English as a second language.)

— The most popular language in the future will be Russian. (I can’t agree that the most popular language will be Russian. I think the most popular language in the future will be Chinese or English.)

— The English language is the native language of 12 nations. (I guess the English language is the native language of 12 nations.)

— English is not used in tourism. (I’ll never believe that English is not used in tourism. I am sure that English is used in tourism.)

— It is not important to learn foreign languages if you want to be well-educated. (I disagree with you. It is important to learn foreign languages if you want to be well-educated.) Etc.

IV. Закрепление речевых клише (выражение согласия и несогласия) в письменной речи

— As I see, you are ready to share your ideas on the topic “The English Language”. The next task for you is to explain your opinion in written form. It’s exercise 5, page 30 in your Workbooks.

Учитель организует письменное выполнение упр. 5, стр. 30 из рабочей тетради. По усмотрению учителя данный вид работы проверяется или в классе, или ученики сдают рабочие тетради на проверку.

V. Физкультминутка

Физкультминутка проводится кем-либо из учеников по желанию.

VI. Введение страноведческой информации по теме «Эсперанто». Тренировка навыков чтения

— So many countries, so many languages. Do you think it is good to have one international language?

At the end of the 19th century people began to use a new language. You can find the information about it in exercise 21, page 39. Who will read the questions before the text? Can you answer them? Let’s read the text aloud.

Ученики выполняют упр. 21, стр. 39 из учебника. Сначала дети отвечают на вопросы перед текстом, а затем по цепочке читают текст вслух с целью проверки своих ответов. После чтения текста учащиеся делятся на группы по 4—5 человек для обсуждения вопросов из упр. 22, стр. 39. Варианты ответов каждой группы заслушиваются в конце данного этапа урока.

VII. Активизация навыков монологической речи

— Do you want to learn Esperanto? Why? Why not? This language hasn’t become popular. But the idea of inventing a new international language is very exciting. What do you think of it? If you were an inventor of the language, what would you do? Look at the task of exercise 25, page 39 and in 2 minutes you will share your opinion with your classmates.

Учащиеся переводят и разбирают задание упр. 25, стр. 39 из учебника. Задание выполняется индивидуально. На самостоятельную работу отводится 2 минуты. После окончания работы учитель предлагает ученикам поделиться своими идеями и представить свое мнение перед классом.

VIII. Совершенствование фонетических навыков и навыков чтения

— All learners of the English language want to pronounce English words and sounds well. Also it is important to read and write the words correctly. Let’s check your pronunciation skills. You will find the pairs of words in exercise 26, page 39. If you finish, put up your hand.

Ученики выполняют упр. 26, стр. 39 из учебника. После выполнения задания в течение 2 минут ученики проводят взаимопроверку в парах. В конце урока выполняется упр. 27, стр. 39 в письменной форме: все ученики записывают слова в тетради, у доски работает один ученик.

IX. Подведение итогов урока

Учитель подводит итоги урока, благодарит детей за работу и объясняет домашнее задание.
