Цели: закрепление навыков чтения; тренировка лексических навыков по теме «Профессии»; совершенствование навыков устной речи на основе прочитанного текста.

Оборудование: два набора карточек для игры «Цепочка слов».

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

— Good morning, boys and girls! (Good morning, Maria Petrovna!)

— I am glad to see you. (We are glad to see you too.)

— How are you? (We are fine, thanks. And how are you?)

— I’m fine, thank you. Vova, how is your mother? (She is fine, thanks.)

— Masha, is your father OK? (Yes, he is. He is OK.)

— Who is absent today? (All pupils are present.)

— And who is on duty today? (Vova and Masha are on duty today.)

— OK. Let’s start our work.

II. Фонетическая зарядка

— Let’s start our lesson. And the first task for you is on the blackboard. You must read these words.

— Now find the odd word in each list.

(Учитель обращает внимание детей на слова, записанные на доске с транскрипцией. Ученики читают их вслух по цепочке, а затем учитель просит их найти лишнее слово в каждом столбике.

Лишние слова: 1-й столбик — yellow (название цвета, остальные слова — специальные вопросительные); 2-й столбик — run (неправильный глагол, остальные правильные); 3-й столбик —ten (числительное, остальные слова — местоимения).)

Игра «Расскажи о своем друге»

— Now I want you to play with me. I will say the sentences in the present and you will change the sentences to describe your friend. Be careful, please.

(Учитель предлагает учащимся прослушать предложения, изменить их и рассказать о своем друге.)

Примерный ход игры:

— I go to the park every day. (My friend goes to the park every day.)

— I want to be a doctor. (She wants to be a doctor.)

— We have chosen the job of an actor. (He has chosen the job of an actor.)

— They go to school at 8 a.m. (He goes to school at 8 a.m.)

— I get up at seven o’clock. (Jake gets up at seven o’clock.)

— Children have three pets at the moment. (She has three pets at the moment.)

— I like this profession very much. (She likes this profession very much.)

— I don’t do my homework in the morning. (My friend doesn’t do her homework in the morning.)

— They like to help people feel better. (He likes to help people feel better.)

IV. Актуализация знаний

Игра «Цепочка слов»

— Аll children like to play games. Now I want you to divide into two teams. Each team will have the cards with the words. You must put the words in the logical order to make a chain.

(Учащиеся делятся на две команды. Обе получают набор карточек для игры. На каждой карточке написаны два словосочетания: одно на русском языке, другое на английском языке. Учащиеся должны расположить карточки таким образом, чтобы получилась цепочка слов. После выполнения задания команды по очереди зачитывают получившиеся цепочки.)

Карточки со словами в правильной последовательности:

— Let’s work in four groups and read one of the texts about four important jobs from exercise 82 on pages 161—162 from your textbooks. Choose one text, read it and answer the questions.

(Учитель предлагает учащимся разделиться на группы, чтобы прочитать и обсудить тексты. На выполнение работы отводится четыре минуты. Затем ученики представляют свои варианты ответов на приведенные в задании вопросы.)
