Моя классная комната - HELLO! NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN!

Цели: развитие навыков изучающего чтения; совершенствование навыков монологической речи (описание картинки); активизация произносительных навыков.

Оборудование: картинки по теме «Моя классная комната».

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

— Good morning, boys and girls! (Good morning!)

— Nice to see you again. (Nice to see you too.)

— How are you? (We are fine, thanks. And how are you?)

— Look at the blackboard, please. You can see some pictures there. Can you guess what we shall talk about? We spend a lot of time at school. Let’s describe the classrooms in the school.

II. Речевая разминка

(Учитель в быстром темпе задает ученикам следующие вопросы.)

— Hello, Ann. Nice to see you. How are you? (l am fine, thank you. How are you?)

— I am fine, too. And what about you, Vova? How are you? (I am fine, thank you.)

— I am glad to hear that. The weather is pleasant today, isn’t it? (Oh, yes. I agree with you. It is rather warm.)

— Kate, I’d like to ask you a question. (You are welcome. What would you like to ask me about?)

— Do you like to go to school? (Yes, I do. I like to go to school very much.)

— Why do you like to go to school, Kate? (I have many friends and they are my classmates.)

— And what about you, Nick? (I like to go to school. Our teachers are clever and kind.)

— What subjects do you like? (I like English and Information Technology.)

— What is your favourite school subject, Helen? (My favourite school subject is Literature.)

— Do you enjoy learning Russian? (Yes, I do. I enjoy learning Russian.)

— Who likes Maths in your class? (Tamara does. She likes Maths very much.)

— Do you have Russian every day? (Yes, I do.)

— What do you like to do at school? Do you like reading books? Etc.

III. Фонетическая зарядка

— Let’s practise the English sounds and words on the topic “School”. Read the English words from exercise 17 on page 11 in your textbooks.

(Учитель обращает внимание учащихся на слова в упр. 17 (учебник, с. 11). Ученики повторяют их за диктором, читают в парах и индивидуально.)

— We shall read the dialogue and answer the question from the task. Open your textbooks on page 12, exercise 18. Read the task, Ann. You will read the dialogue to yourself.

— What question will you answer? (What do Jim and his friend see in the classroom?)

— Start your reading, please.

(Учитель предлагает детям прочитать диалог из упр. 18 и ответить на поставленный в задании вопрос. Учащиеся читают текст в течение трех минут, а затем по очереди отвечают на него. После того как ответы будут заслушаны, диалог зачитывается вслух.)

Упр. 19 (с. 12-13).

— Let’s compare two pictures from exercise 19 on pages 12-13. Read the example, please.

— Who can describe the picture of the classroom before summer?

— Can you describe the second picture (the classroom after summer)?

— Who can find the difference?

(Учитель предлагает детям описать и сравнить картинки из упр. 19. Работа фронтальная (обсуждение всем классом) или в группах по четыре человека.)

VII. Закрепление изученного материала

— I think it’s time to describe our classroom. What is there in the classroom?

— What can you see there?

— Petya, will you be the first?

(Дети выполняют упр. 20 (учебник, с. 13): сначала заслушивают рассказы в парах, а затем к доске по очереди приглашаются 3—4 ученика.)

VIII. Подведение итогов урока

Two little eyes to look around,

Two little ears to hear any sound.

Two little hands to hold hands tight.

Two little feet to walk left or right.

Two little lips to say BEWARE!

One little child to cross the roads with care.

Our lesson is over. The bell has gone. You have worked well. Goodbye!
