Цели: обучение грамматике (much, many, a lot of, a little, a few); тренировка навыков аудирования; закрепление навыков чтения и монологической речи.

Оборудование: демонстрационная таблица по теме «Правила использования слов much, many, a lot of, a little, a few».

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

— Get ready for the lesson, please! I am waiting for you to be quiet.

Good morning, good morning!

Good morning to you!

Good morning, dear children!

I am glad to see you!

II. Фонетическая зарядка

— I want you to read the words from the blackboard now. Who can read them aloud?

— Let’s read them all together in a whisper.

— Can you translate them?

— Read the words in pairs, please.

(Учитель обращает внимание детей на слова, заранее записанные на доске. Ученики читают слова хором в парах и индивидуально. Можно предложить учащимся прочитать слова громко и шепотом, медленно и быстро, а затем составить словосочетания, используя слова из разных столбиков.)

— Where did you spend your last summer holidays?

— Do you take care of your granny?

— Will you go abroad next summer?

— Did you go shopping yesterday?

— Do you like to gather mushrooms?

— Did you have a trip last summer? When did you start it?

— Does your mother enjoy shopping?

— Can you gather mushrooms all day long? Etc.

IV. Работа по теме урока

1. Игра «Согласись или не согласись»

— Do you want to play the game “Agree or Disagree”? Think of different statements on the topic “Summer Holidays” and ask your classmates to agree or disagree with them.

(Учитель предлагает детям придумать утверждения по теме «Летние каникулы» и представить их своим одноклассникам. Ученики, прослушавшие предложение, выражают свое согласие или несогласие с ним. Учащиеся работают по цепочке. По усмотрению учителя для выполнения данной работы дети могут разделиться на группы по три-четыре человека.)

Примерный ход игры:

— You spent your summer holidays in the country. (I agree with you. I spent my summer holidays in the country.)

— You didn’t go to the country in July. (I disagree with you. I went to the country in July.)

— The weather was rainy last August. (I disagree with you. The weather wasn’t rainy last August.)

— It was interesting to spend your summer holidays in the city. (I agree with you. It was interesting to spend my summer holidays in the city.)

— You visited your grandparents in June. (I disagree with you. I didn’t visit my grandparents in June.)

— You gathered mushrooms in July. (I agree with you. I gathered mushrooms in July.) Etc.

2. Работа по учебнику

Упр. 53 (с. 22).

— Today we shall listen to the dialogue. Guess what Jim wanted to know about Russia. Be careful.

(Ученики прослушивают диалог и обсуждают его с одноклассниками.)

Упр. 54 (с. 22).

— Let’s read the dialogue from exercise 54 on page 22 from your textbooks. We shall read it and answer the questions.

(Учащиеся шепотом читают диалог и отвечают на вопросы, данные перед текстом. На выполнение задания отводится три минуты. Затем ученики читают диалог в парах.)

Упр. 55 (с. 23).

— Look at “Grammar Focus”, page 23, exercise 55 in your textbooks, please. Let’s read the examples and translate them.

(Учитель обращает внимание детей на словосочетания из упр. 55 (учебник, с. 23) и обсуждает с учениками правила использования слов much, many, a lot of, a little, a few. Учащиеся по очереди читают и переводят словосочетания. Для введения нового материала можно использовать демонстрационную таблицу по данной теме.)

VII. Закрепление изученного материала

Упр. 56 (с. 23).

— Now, children, let’s practise using these new words in the exercises. We shall do exercise 56 on page 23. The next task for you is exercise 58 on page 23.

(Ученики в течение двух минут просматривают возможные варианты ответов, а затем зачитывают правильные.)
